Created by Jo Gardiner, these instructions will show you step by step, how to make your own beautiful needle felted Bear.
There are 11 pages of instructions including over 80 photos and also a size guide page.
You will make a Bear that is approximately 12cm / 4.5inches tall
You will need to purchase or have access to:
• Core wool - course, off-white wool - 25g will be plenty
• Bergschaf or similar coarse wool (natural brown & dark brown) 25g will be plenty
• Maori or similar (caramel) - small amount
• Merino (dark brown) - small amount
• Felting mat
• 3 x Felting needles - 40, 38, 36 - spares would be useful
• 2 x 3mm black glass eyes
• Finger protectors, all-purpose glue and small scissors
Details of UK suppliers are contained within the instructions. You can use similar products from other suppliers, just ensure that you buy coarse wool where advised - suppliers should be able to advise you regarding this.
This craft requires the use of very sharp needles, therefore it is not suitable for young children.
