Needle Felted Miniture Red Squirrel in a Vintage Tin
 
A unique, hand made gift for any one who loves Squirrels, British wildlife and quirky hand made items.  
 
Hand made by myself in my studio in Staffordshire (UK). The Squirrel is made with various sheep wools in blended, warm autumnal shades, which have been skillfully sculpted with felting needles.  
 
The Squirrel is curled up peacefully, with its eyes closed and a peaceful expression.  It is sleeping in a nest of green wool and faux moss, with some very small, real acorns.
 
The Mouse is about 5.8 cm not including its tail. The vintage Lozenges tin is 7cm x 5cm. 
 
Gift boxed in a Kraft box with ivory/cream tissue paper.
 
Needle felting is a skilled craft, with each creation taking many hours to create.
 
Needle felted sculptures are collectibles - not toys. They have small parts and  are delicate with a need to be handled with care, therefore it would not be wise to purchase them for children. 
The sculpture has been sprayed with a fabric shield, however it is advisable to refrain from over handling the sculpture to avoid any damage.  
 
Shipped to the UK using Royal Mail Special Delivery and International tracked to other destinations.
