Small Needle Felted Polar Bear Family
 
A unique, hand made gift for any one who loves Polar Bears and quirky hand made items.
 
The mother bear and her two cubs are needle felted over a wire armature, they have glass eyes and felted and waxed noses. The mother bear also has hand made claws.
 
Hand made by myself in my studio in Staffordshire (UK). The bears have been made with various natural wools, which have been sculpted using felting needles. The mother bear is about 17-18cm long and 13cm tall, the cubs are about 11cm long and 7-8cm tall.
These sculptures took approximately 35-40 hours to make as needle felting is a slow and skilled craft.
 
Needle felting is a craft which involves stabbing wool with barbed needles to create 3D sculptures.
 
Needle felted sculptures are collectibles - not toys. They are delicate and need to be handled with care, therefore it would not be wise to purchase them for children.
The sculpture has been sprayed with Fabric Shield, however it is advisable to refrain from over handling the sculpture to avoid any damage.
 
Shipped to the UK using Royal Mails special delivery service or International tracked to other countries.  
Buyers are responsible for any customs/import taxes, which may be incurred.
Unfortunately I am not currently shipping to Europe.
