Instructions to make a Needle Felted Sleeping Mouse  - this is a digital download only

Created by Jo Gardiner, these instructions will show you step by step, how to make your own beautiful needle felted Sleeping Mouse.
 
There are 10 pages of photo's and instructions including over 80 photos and also a size guide page.
 
You will make a Mouse which  is approximately 9 cm at its widest point
You will need to purchase or have access to:
Core Wool a coarse wool which is usually white. If your mouse colour wool is course enough, you can use this instead of core
Corriedale slivers (in the mouse colour of your choice) or a similar quite barbed, carded wool e.g. Bergschaf. This is the main colour for the Mouse
Maori ( cream/off-white, a little pinky/flesh colour and a slightly darker pink) - or a similar soft carded wool, this is for the tummy and face details and the feet and tail. 
Merino (dark brown and light brown) – this very soft wool has fibres going in one direction and is great for details, this is for the eyes and defining the nose - available from most suppliers)
Felting mat 
4 x felting needles - sizes     36, 38 & 40 and a 40 reverse
Finger protectors (leather) or some cardboard
Scissors - small 
A pipe cleaner
 (the whole mouse will weigh approximately 11-12g)
 
Details of UK suppliers are contained within the instructions.  You can use similar products from other suppliers, just ensure that you buy coarse wool where advised - suppliers should be able to advise you regarding this.
 
This craft requires the use of very sharp needles, therefore it is not suitable for young children.  
The finished Item is ornamental and is not a toy
